The machine as standard dosent come with a HDD it is part of the printer scanner kit.
you can remove the HDD from the machine but would also have to remove the printer scanner DIMM on the controller board that would stop the SC870 error and would make the machine bogg standard e.g. no print/scan/fax/document server facility and all duplexing would be avalible.
If the SC870 dosent go then run:
Initialize the address book data (SP5-846-050)
Note that this is a 20G SATA drive. Not PATA.
