    Angry Dirty backside MP2501

    Hi
I have some unexplained problem with Ricoh MP2501. There is about 20cm dirty or remains toner on the back side of the paper? Duble side scan of copy in attachement.
As an explanation, let me say that I have changed with original parts; drum, developer, charge roller, transfer roler, magnetic developer roller.
If anybody have the same problem I will be very hapy to shere with me.

    regards
    Bole

What is feed direction, LEF or SEF. Either way it must be coming from transfer.

Its LEF direction! The drum surface is lite dirty of amout of toner and the toner is go ower to the transfer. Im looking forward it could be some hihg voltage shortcut???

If this model is like the earlier midrange B/W series"ie mp 2022" if its smudged toner the transfer roller
will get dirty since the drums/dev units like to leak toner.I would pull drum, laser unit and vacuum/wipe all
areas and then ck drum count.
the machine might be over toning to compensate a worn drum...

Agree with this. sometimes we de-tone it a little bit so the duplex print/copy becomes clear. Make sure you are using original toners, drum and dev.
    Aye! Cut the crap
