It's not possible to remove the duplex function access completely out of the display - just the "big buttons" but not the access at the bottom of the screen.

I'm not 100% shure but I think that the HDD is not neccessary for duplex printing.

Well - I'm shure that Icopy is getting back to the topic as soon as he can tell us the result of the HDD check.

Without the HDD, duplexing is not possible as it uses the HD as storage for the image.
"Access at the bottom of the screen" The tab will be there but duplex options will be grayed out.

Yeah I know that the HDD is necessary for certain features like duplex copying - but I'm still not really convinced that these dependeces are 1:1 equal to the printer limitations.

Yes, the problem was HDD. Our maintence crew seem to have forgoten to plug in hdd after complete maintence on this maschine. Ill update with more details (since im just tech support for them, im no repairman), but i think, by the laughter i got on the phone, one of them forgot to put it back in or forgot to plug it in
