    MPC4501 Replace photoconductor message

I have a machine that keeps calling for all photoconductors to be replaced. Was doing it every once in a while, & is now doing it after a few pages are run.

We've replaced the I/O board, BICU, HDD, Fax pwb, NVRAM, HV pwb, & power supply.

Anybody seen this happen or have an idea what might be causing it?

    Thanks in advance...

They have been replaced individually as they caused print quality issues (so shouldn't all pop at once) & none of them are beyond their life.

    Re: MPC4501 Replace photoconductor message

On your other post asking for P2P for this model you state the message is “set photoconductor”, not replace, so what is the correct message? If it is “set photoconductor” you have issue with wiring to TD sensor.

Has it done lots of A3 size? this will reduce PM life. Try clear PM ciunter and see what happens.
