    The first time Norton sees a scan arriving it puts up a security alert on the screen. If the operator is there and automatically clicks BLOCK or there is no one at the computer and the messages times out this will happen. Contact Norton for instructions on clearing the block. I have had people accidentally block IP printing.

    Slim:
    Just check the "quaraintaine" in your Norton programe to verify if your Ricoh is in the list.
    If yes, you can easily remove the quaraintaine.

    You still have to correct what ever caused it to be placed in quarantine.

    i always found Nortons and MCAFREE to both be PITA with scanning.
