What sort of life are the PM parts in? PTR is a good cause of this kind of image quality problem.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Any sc codes in the recent history? Maybe image transfer or PTR as mentioned above

Both are symptom of a dirty or defective ID sensor.

I have also seen this when the ITB unit lock cam is broken. The ID sensor end of the ITB unit will move slightly when the sensor shutter solenoid actuates and does not full uncover the sensor.

I just wanted to follow-up. I had replaced the ID sensor bar above the image transfer belt and the colors stopped being washed out and look normal on the printer test page. all print jobs are coming out with the right colors. IT has been working for three days, so hopefully that was it.
