Install pcl 6 driver
Go to maintenance, auto colour calibration, perform those refering to printing.
Is the mimage on the printout also blured?
If no, proceed the calibration procedure.
Better?
Could be , will install a new machine an account that had an HP, customer had tuned all files to match the bad HP printer so when we install new printer customer said color was off.
Take the file and print to another color machine on or off site and compare. Or use a known color file and print it.
Going back on site tomorrow. Will try suggestions and post here results. Thank you!
Make sure the ID sensors are clean.
NEVER ASSUME ANYTHING
Depending on the driver used, toner saving might be turned ON.
At least not a “quality too high” problem
Please start you post with brand, model, problem.
I’m on-site and I printed out a test page from printer SP mode 1103-002 and the colors also looked washed out. The blue looks purple the green looks aqua blue and the red looks pink
