    SC 670-01 MPC 3503

Ok so I have an sc 670-01 which only happens when coming out of power saving. These are the things I have done so far. I do have the TSB for this but I'm not convinced replacing all the boards is the answer....hence why I'm posting. The machine has the smart op m3 control panel. I have updated the firmware for the panel to version 1.53 which is the latest. I have updated all machine firmware. Before I updated the firmware the machine would not even come out of power saving and the data light would not flash. Since updating it will come out of power saving but then gives sc 670-01. Has anyone seen this or have any insight that could be helpful. Any help is much appreciated

Been fighting a few of the Metis with SC670 over the years.

Here's the steps I take in this order.

    (1) Update ALL firmware
    (2) Set SP 5-191 to 0 & SP5730 to 0
    (3) Replace USB OP cable as per bulletin
    (4) Replace controller board

Thanks for the info. Firmware is good I will try the two sp tomorrow. I have a controller board so I will also take that. Cables have been checked but I will replace them. On sp 5730 do I set all -001-002 and -10 to 0 ?
