Remove the three color drums, the Fuser, and the ITB assy to get a better angle on it, and use a good bright flashlight to look in there. Turn the drum a bit to move the gears to a new position. Don't force it, be patient.

Duhhhh damn Must have been wore from spreading gravel that day.. yeah either a door open or a lever disengages the belt (up or down) he got the drums out.. hopefully did't muck the belt up..

OPEN all doors.. look for a lever around the ITB area.. ( might even be diagrammed on the door sticker ) hmmm IS the BELT OUT NOW? follow door instructs...
have you looked at service or even USER guide?

This grey plug is only for the 5503/6003 it is to remind you to release the lube bar spring as per sheet provided with the new PCU.

Problem sorted, thanks to all who posted - removed Y/M/C dev units, fuser and ITB assembly, could then see much better especially through right door, drum was indeed not locating correctly so turned it slowly until it engaged with drive gear, helping it locate from both ends made a difference too, machine now working fine, thanks again - some top people on this forum

Be carrefull with this belt, it's damaged before you even know it!
