Ricoh 5054 scan to folder to windows 10

Yes, it´s possible but 1. of all the firmware must be updated (RTB 095).

yes but if you are an end user or a 'tech' without a SM.. don't try it .. if it's working.. it may not be after you are done.

Try it most likely it will will work fine.

The only issue is if you have SNB v1 disabled.

Do I need to have smb 1 enabled for this machine? because i thought it support smb 1 and above. Yup, If smb 1 enabled from the computer it works.

scanning still failed to work for windows 10.
testing Scanning SMB Version 2\3.
reason to test smb 2\3 because some client would not like to have their computer configured to enable smb 1 features due to security issue. they prefer straight forward setup and scan.
Scanning type: SMB Scan to folder.
Windows 10 version 1809(17763.316).

Error msg:
Connection to pc has failed \ Connection with the destination has failed check settings. Entered path name might be incorrect, or firewall and security settings might be blocking network connectivity

Research tested:

1) No configuration changes from windows 10. just test setup folder for smb scanning-failed.
2) change windows 10 local account setup for scanning to administrator level. - scanning failed.
3) set scan permission at security to full control on scan folder- scanning scan failed.
4) Tested changing networking sharing encryption at 128 bit and 56 bit- scan failed
5) Ping from computer to ricoh and from ricoh to computer is successful.
6) Using twain driver scan is successful.
7) Tested scan to windows 7 is successful.
8) Tested using IP instead of computer name on smb - failed.
9) changes from just using username to username@domain at ricoh addressbook doesnot work too.
10) scan to ftp is successful using windows 10 ftp features.
11) clean install windows 10 same version OS without activation. scan still failed.
12) allow an app through firewall, smb direct. scan still failed.
13) Wireshark tested check showing 54 445 -> 65452 [RST, ACK] Seq=1 ack=168 win=0 Len=0 dunno wat is tat but its red colour showing something not communicating
14) turn off defender firewall, off realtime protection, cloud delivered protection off. failed
15) Telnet ricoh 5054, port 445, auth level 0, wsd browser on, write mode: sync, timeout 20. rebooted machine and tested still failed
16)Telnet ricoh 5054, port 445, client auth level 1, wsd browser on, write mode: sync, timeout 20. rebooted machine and tested - failed
17) Telnet ricoh 5054, port 445, client auth level 2, wsd browser on, write mode: sync, timeout 20. rebooted machine and tested -failed
18) Telnet ricoh 5054, port 445, client auth level 3, wsd browser on, write mode: sync, timeout 20. rebooted machine and tested- failed
