Post Ricoh 2003 Colour Issues & Lines

    Hi there,
My machine has some kind of colour issues, if i photocopy in colour the print has quality but when i print from a computer the colour is light and also so many lines occur on CYAN and Yellow.

i had Replace drums & Rollers on Cyan but never it had made any difference. The machine has only printed 20,000 pages only.
I just dont understand why the colour is so light.

Images attached below would help you guys understand better and also the red colour even on colour photocopying the colour is very light.

Worn developer, worn drum, missing the rear drum plate, condensation or dirt on/inside the laser, worn PTR, or poor paper quality; are all the common causes for faint image.

Your main problem is you are running this machine way, way out of it's specification. It's a low-end office MFP, not a £250,000 production print machine. The amount of toner being laid down is probably ruining the dev units.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

take out the development groups, look at the magnet, you will see more or less those lines on the magnet (doctor blade clogged) turn the gear of the magnet in the opposite direction 4-5 turns, and then again in the right direction 4 - 5 turns, repeat until the lines disappear ... repeat this procedure for each development group

What are the counts for the developer? It definitely looks like it needs new developer units. I think the developer for these machines are only good for 120,000 prints and the drums are only good for 60,000.

sorry, are you a technician? it's a bit complicated to make a video, if you know how replace a pcu & dev you'll know what I'm talking about, but the laser glasses will have cleaned them?

ok, I found this video, it is not the same machine, but the concept is applicable anyway ... look at the time code 0.53> the gear rotated by hand and what is written in the video ... I hope it
