75k is very early though for this to start occuring....are you using OEM toner?

    Hi

Just for shits and giggles, did you check the laser unit slit glasses? I have found that transport can cause toner to fall on the laser unit and this causes white lines in the print area, even when the device left the shop with perfect prints.

These are however prone to toner clumping (as said in previous posts).

Just be careful with their drum units as they are mighty costly if compared to say for instance the MPC2003 units.

Sometimes this white streaks comes from a bad toner. Though OEM, if it has been exposed to extreme conditions, there is a tendency that it creates lumps on the development unit. Then here we go, sieving it out, only to get frustrated as the same problem comes back again and again unless we start with replacing the toner and doing the same process.
The success rate as per my experience of cleaning the doctor blade and sieve the developer = 1 out of 3. We end up replacing the development unit and send the defective part to warehouse for thorough cleaning.
Be careful when removing the cover of the development unit. There is a tendency that the side clips gets broken.
    Aye! Cut the crap
