I've been working on mostly Ricoh's for 15+ years and I always call in help when it comes to Firmware upgrades.
Way too easy to brick a machine or screw up the update.
So the once in every 2-3 years when I need a firmware update done, I bite the bullet and pay for someone with the knowledge and skills to do it right.
