it's possible scan to folder with spc232 in W10 ?

    Good morning

I am trying to configure this printer model to scan to folder, since I understand that it does not work with win10 protocols.
I have tried in windows features activate SMB 1.0 but it does not work either.

Any solution or do I have to resort to scan to email?

It's an option but I almost prefer to scan to email. Thanks

have you checked into firmware for SMB2?

there are known issues with Win7 &10

there are plenty of threads on this issue with other brands also

Exactly, update the firmware this will enable you to scan SMB.

SMB2/3 firmware is not available for this model and as I believe that this model is not made by Ricoh there most likely will ever be one. SD firmware is not available. Remote firmware available are Engine v1.06 and Main v 1.30 from rfgesource and v1.59 from TSRC.

Microsoft no longer supports SMB1.0 on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10. There were authentication changes with SMB1.2 on Windows 7 that SMB1.0 does not support. If you really want to SMB scan to folders on a Windows machine, find an old Windows 98 machine. Or setup a Linux virtual machine on Windows 10 and use Samba.

I only have one of these POS machines in the field. one gave 1 to a relative for nothing .
I setup scan to folder on Win10 with SMB V1 enabled without a problem (surprised the hell out of me !).
That's all I have to add

Did you manage to run this model in windows 10? I tried to enable SMB1 in windows features and it did not work for me. If you say it worked for you, I probably made a bad configuration on the copier
