how many copies on drum /devlp/and what about color copies does it also have problem. try printing single color and see if you have same problem. will help in deciding where problem is. Print smc report will give you how many copies on each component.

If the problem is with color and B/W, PTR is not making proper contact with the ITB.

If it is only with black, you either have depleted black developer - replace black development unit or the black transfer roller lift in the ITB is not working - replace the entire ITB. Both are the result of shoddy maintenance.

Open the right hand door when the page is going through the machine and try and jam the paper at the transfer belt. If the image is fine there then the fuser will be the issue. I'm guessing faulty fuser belt or the media you are using is too thick and the settings haven't been changed to suit. One thing to check is user tools maintenance paper type and set all trays to plain paper type 2 might help

Phil, with that many red cards do you really expect him to have a Tech ID#?
