    Can I use a mpc4502 control panel on a mpc3002?

    hi
I have a mpc3002 that has been sitting wth a shattered control panel.
I changed the touch screen but the 2nd brd behind it shows cracks too and
I am trying to get it running to test my batch of fuser units i plan on rebuilding
to have on the shelf when busy.
I dont have any mpc4502 in the field but found a cheap working used one.
Do you see anything that can make it "not" worth a chance to try?

No. C3002 = D1421411 and C4502/5502 = D1441401. Have tried it before and get a code or error message or non start of screen or something, can't remember exactly, but they don't cross over.

PCB: OP R and L (under the keys and such) are the same.
LCDC: TFT: WVGA are the same between C3002 and 4502.
Touch Panels are different D1291422 for 4502 and D1291421 for 3002.
PCB: LCDC: FT boards are different. D1441441 C4502 and D1421441 C3002. (I think this is the board you are talking about that is also cracked? Sits right underneath the Touch screen).

    hi
Are you 100% sure as I have no need for a mpc5502 panel.
Previous posts say you get a code or nonresponse of screen..
Did that occur and doing mpc3002 op panel FW brought it back
    and functioning on a mpc3002?
