Sounds reasonable for wake up from sleep and first copy time. Possible someone put a C4503 fusing unit, 4 seconds longer wake up from sleep.

Printing can also take considerable time if the wrong driver or port are used. I have seen the WSD port take as long as 30 minutes to spool 1 page.

Come on, it's not the melting unit, is it?

Don't worry about the print drivers if it is also slow making a copy.

Try cleaning the thermistors. Are the Drums, Developers, Fuser, ITB belt over due for replacement?

Is this happening when the machine is awake and ready to go, or is it when it is in sleep mode?

the prints are perfect, when launching printing it runs for 20-30 seconds ... printing or photocopying ... on the display it writes ... print 1 minute
but all of a sudden !!!

I must also say that when the press starts even if there are 500 copies, it prints them all at a speed of 55 cpm without interruption

What media type is selected? Heavier paper requires additional warmup. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    From the Product Support Guide

Warm time: D149 16 seconds. First copy delivery time: 3.1 seconds. That's a total of 19.1 Seconds for coming out of sleep to first copy letter sized LEF to deliver to exit. This assumes paper being fed from tray 1 and no finisher.

As cat said it will take slightly longer for heavier paper.

If you are certain it indeed happens with both copies and prints------if you have another c5503, swap the fixing unit with a known good one or you could try to replace the fixing film unit. I had one unit printing slow that was finally fixed by replacing that fixing film assy.

If it just happens with printing try switching drivers.

Re: Ricoh mp c5503 , 1 minute for print or copy

Thank you for the suggestions, the paper used is the normal one, the problem is the same both in copying and in printing or with photocopier in READY state, starting copying or printing writes PROCESSING IN PROGRESS .... PRINT 1 MINUTE, the print or copy are delivered after 20-30 seconds, there are no error codes ...., I have to try to replace the fuser unit ... and I'll let you know
