    Had one like this also. The copier was in place for a few years with no problems on that IP. Some put a device on the network that would try and communicate to that IP and the copier would lock up. The other device was not using the IP as a duplicate, just sending a signal out on the IP of the copier. Found it using WireShark.

    The below is a multiple ping test batch file I wrote for Windows O/S.
    It will ping for multiple IP addresses in a set user range to find active network connections.
    Use it to find authorized, hacker or duplicate IP addresses in the range you've chosen.

    Examples:
    Xping 10.1.1.0 255 {Test all 255 addresses start at 10.1.1.0}
    Xping 192.168.2.10 20 {Test 10..30 addresses start at 192.168.2.10}

    Cut and paste to a USB stick and test the network.
