The C305 firmware updated for Google Cloud Print is a special update that is only available on the "solution" page in the Google Cloud section on the TSC site. The next thing you will need to do is to purchase the app license from Ricoh or a dealer. The cost is $70 USD and is a one time license that is married to the machine. After you have the license the next step is to download from the TSC site the version 1 client. There are two versions, the C305 uses version 1 and hence the reason that you will need the special firmware from that solution page. Make sure you have the latest version of the client as their was a mandatory upgrade relating to security issues. The read me file looks like a 8th grader put it together but after a little trial and error I was able to make it work.
it is true that the yellow toner in these models is problematic. I recommend having a spare chip.
Although there is yellow toner in the machine many times, the machine drops to the yellow toner no warning. Also, the yellow toner remains in the bottle too much and cannot be used. This toner can be reused by refreshing the chip.
the firmware update 1.50: 02 was not supposed to solve the problem?
"toner bottle incorrectly set" is displayed even when the bottle is loaded correctly
