    With all the issues he has been having, why not just swap the device out with a Canon

    frankly the c6004 is a pretty strong box for the Ricoh line.. his problem IMHO is the "technician"

    I even question his "canon.master" status.

    Wow, that sounds like extortion, unless the client owes money to the original service provider. Sounds like you're stuck in the middle. I'm guessing the client did not let you know the entire truth of the situation. Sometimes it's best just to pass on a new account that embroils you in bullshit right off the bat, because if it IS a lack of payment situation you also may not get paid.

    canon guy is doing this out of the kindness of his heart,no need to be paid.........yeah right...
