Re: Paper size mismatch error received by one user

Coincidentally, I had this exact issue just a few weeks ago with the only customer that I know of who uses Word Perfect.
Doing some research in advance, I figured that it would be a 'format' setting too, but it wasn't.
It was a paper size mismatch error, and the machine would only print from the bypass tray, when manually selected, and was ONLY an issue with word perfect. All other programs worked perfectly. Even manually selecting Tray 1 within the printer properties didn't work.
It ended up being something to do with the driver and the Word Perfect program. I fixed it by simply installing a different driver.
I think I went from PCL6 to PCL5 (or vice versa).
    It's worked "perfectly" ever since

Edit: If you're using the Universal PCL driver. Don't

Have also been seeing a lot of the V4 Uni. Drivers and Ricoh Class Drivers. Junk drivers in my opinion. Can't beat the good old PCL5/6 drivers.
Any time just one person in the office is having an issue, it's usually them choosing wrong settings, or 9 times out of 10 a driver issue.

Re: Paper size mismatch error received by one user

depending on the size that she uses in the driver the help is given

this I do in this situation for example

    IN THE DRIVER

    size of the document:
    A4

    print on:

    letter

    That helps me

I even created a driver for those types and sizes of paper
I call it for example LETTER OR OFFICE, according to the case because of the laziness that it gives them in configuring the sizes well.
