    Ricoh MP C307 first one

i just purchase off lease first only. i notice in user tools under screen features there is a wifi setting. Is this feature only for browsing the web. I notice if you turn on and connect and you go to machine feature then to interface no ip address and there is no wifi icon either. i try looking for information but haven't found what is use for.

That wifi is for op panel only (ie web browser.) does not port over to the machine itself for printing/scanning. 2 separate interfaces. There is a wireless card for machine functions available although it is crap. Plug it in ethernet like all others and good to go.

As above, the wifi is for the ops panel only, however it does allow you to print over TCP/IP but there is no facility for network scanning.

Not sure as to this model but on some SOP the WiFi is short range.

Im not sure if there is no kind of port forwarding for the scanner...
