"Unauthorized" usually leads me to think the User Codes are entered incorrectly. If they try to print with a wrong User Code, it'll do exactly as you described... Data light flash/machine comes up/job gets deleted.

Turn the User Codes completely off...including in the print driver on one of the PC's and see if that doesn't make it work.

A five year old network switch could be a problem. I had an almond plant a few years ago where an MP C2551 would stop receiving jobs after setting idle for a few minutes. They would cycle power and the C2551 would print everything that was currently queued. Then if it was idle for about 5 minutes would again go back to not receiving jobs. We tried replacing everything on the C2551 with no luck so told them it had to be something on the network. They had another C2551 so they swapped the two machines, including IP addresses. The problem stayed with the location, not the machine. They replaced a 5 years old 36 port switch and the problem was gone. Also a couple of users also stopped having trouble accessing the internet.

If network masking is set up on the C305, it could also indicate a job from an "Unauthorized" IP address.

Unauthorised was only there when I put user codes on in order to properly delete the job that was continually being sent, I then left it on so that I could use a new driver, with code entered, just so I knew only my job was allowed to print. This customer do not use user codes, it is a couple in their home office, no need for codes. I turned them off again once I'd used them for troubleshooting

Has the port changed to WSD?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

No, and I tried downloading the driver again and re-installing it. I will call them later and ask them to try a different port on the router

They don't offer a Package f/w for this model.

I called this customer while I was on my lunch break on my course, the customer texted me about 15 minutes later, it was a faulty port on the router, thank you so much for your assistance
