what does Java allow on a MP 6002 and can i uninstall?

i am working on a MP 6002 THAT HAS THE JAVA card installed and dont think customer has any need for JAVA.
Also i want to pop a PS3 card so they can print from their mac books.
If I kept the card do I MOVE JAVA TO SLOT 2 AND PS3 to slopt 1 and merge?

Before removing the JAVA SD card, stop it in User Tools. If JAVA is running and you power off and remove the JAVA SD card there is an outside possibility of cratering the Control PCB.

Java and PS3 can't be merged. If they aren't using it, just uninstall in user tools and take it out. It can stay in slot 2 if you need it though, just have to uninstall anytime it's removed to do firmware updates.

I believe that disable in SP is for newer models with embedded JAVA.
