    Re: mp 4054/5055 CURLING PAPER

I had the same issue and you can't really do a lot since ricoh was cutting costs and left out the de-curling rollers. Lowereing the temps might help a little but can also have side effects. The best approach is doing a test with some different paper brands - I've noticed quite some differences in curling tendency.

Exit rollers should be checked of course and you can modify the internal tray if the paper does "roll out" like ancient papyrus rolls.

    Re: mp 4054/5055 CURLING PAPER

    Hi there!
The thermopiles are IN the machine, not in the fuser! When thereīs smudge on them the temperatureregulating goes "mad" and curled paper occurs.
    Greetings...

PS: this an example of my problem.

It'll be great to know if this is going to fix digicor's issue, too.

Themopile is not the "click frog" thermo-fuse but some sort of contactless temperture reader.
Sounds logic that a dirty sensor might lead to higher fuser temps wich can increase curling.
Hard to imagine that the issue totally goes away though.

Kudos goes to Zeldaman - don't forget to print some samples before cleaning to see how much it changes.

Could you check SP 3260-001, 002, 003 with built-in Humidity sensor on these device, this will give idea about how much is the Humidity near that device.

this smell of wrong exit roller type, try to check the shape of the black plastic roller above the delivery tray, must be "bombed", like a beans, not straight!
