Unable to add IMC2500 to Ricoh Connect app on iPhone

Tried adding by searching and by IP address.
    ”Failed to find machine”
I am able to pull up the WIM on my phone on the same network and was also able to install printer on. Mac on the same network and it is printing properly.

Tried reinstalling the app and restarting both devices.

    Which phone are you using?

Sometimes you need to add the IP of the printer manually rather than search.

Also updating the firmware can help.

Yes I tried search and by adding ip manually.
    Using iPhone 12.
Tried updating firm in sp mode and got E71 code.
Unfortunately I don’t have access to firmware to download to sd card.

We can supply you with the firmware should you want to try that.

    Does AirPrint work ?

Also turn on IPV6 on the copier that may also help.

    Just tried IPV6, same issue
Also on AirPrint, no airprint printers found

How can I go about getting the firmware?

    Thanks

Just tried firmware update tool and I get message “The device is not turned on or it is not the target device”

I am still able to pull up the WIM and login from the same computer.

Yes that tool is a little unreliable.

Check you have AirPrint & Bonjour enabled (you can check this via the WIM / webpage)

Drop us an email from either link below we can supply you with the firmware.

Just checked via WIM and AirPrint was enabled but Bonjour wasn’t, so I enabled that and still no luck either by search or ip address.

Guess I will still need to try firmware update.
    Thanks for the tips.

Did you cycle power after enabling Bonjour?
