    The Germans got the towels on the sunloungers again!!!!

    yeah, but only because the british explained us how to to find them

    @all:

    Have you checked your stock? Our order was from 02. April (i think) and likle I said this wus just a common order through the regular channels - no fancy special deal. Of course we asked the Hotline if we just got a "Joker" and what to expect after the next order. We also asked what happened if one of our big clients with more than one MP5k is messing around with 2 types of toner. They can't tell but promised a feedback for the next week - we will see.

    Btw. the hotline guys knows about copytechnet and the running discussions but they are not allowed to participate here.

    I had mentioned in one of the other MP4000/5000 discussions that we had ordered MP4500A toner and were notified that there was a new EDP number (old 884922, new 841346). The toner came in and the lot number is 9096992A.

    So does this mean that we received "new, improved" toner? Wouldn't that be nice!

    Check the bulletins I attached To a post 2 days ago.

    From the Service guidlines it looks like the old EDP code for 4500E toner (Ricoh, U.K) was 884926

    The new codes are

    Ricoh: 841347 (Toner, MP4500E)

    NRG: 841348 (Toner, MP4500)

    As I mentioned, these are for UK versions, but since your EDP is similar it looks like you have the new toner.

    Unhappy

    We are having a hole bunch of fun with this problem. If you check Drum ground you will find it bad. But damage already done. Cleaning Mag. roller with brass brush works on some. others need to change Drum Developer and Developer unit Depends on volume. Herd a rumor new toner is in the works.
