    Smile 2232 Fuser Recommendations

    I don't currently have a problem!

BUT... What settings do you guys use to overcome the limitations of this fragile fuser unit? Is there (or not) a different Fuser Oil Unit that spits out more fuser oil? Is there a setting that will make the copier replenish the fuser oil at a more frequent interval? etc..

    TIA

Why do you want to use more oil? What do you mean by "limitations"?
    Please be more specific.

As a service part, there is a high volume fuser oil unit available. It's for customers with more than 14,000 clicks a month. That's about it really...

I also advise customers to install the oil unit when the message comes on and not to wait until it locks them out. Especially if they are using non standard media on a regular basis. Also make sure they know the limitations of the machine as far as paper weight. And don't let them try to run ink jet media through the machine.
