    How the color registration problem can be solved in rioch color laser printer AP3800c. PCUs and transfer belt is new.

    After replacing the transfer unit:
    • Perform forced line position adjustment (SP5-993-002 or ‘Maintenance menu –
    Color Registration - Auto Adjust’ in User Program mode),
    • Print the 1-dot grid pattern on A3/11"x17" paper and check the color shift level.

    You'll first have to check what causes the line positioning to fail. Check SP5-993-007 and see what value is displayed and search the manual for the cause. Did you replace the whole ITB Assy, or just the belt itself? If you only replaced the belt it could be that the drive rollers aren't clean.

    Hopefully they threw the printer in the dumpster. I haven't seen one in years, but I remember I didn't like them much.
