savin 2527 lines in 1st inch of print?? help

the Savin 2527 is having lines in the first inch or 2 of print. I've replaced the drum/photo Conductor Unit as well as put on a 120k maintance kit. It has 130k on the clock. I can't get this fixed and I'm not sure what else it could be. I reopened the fuser and checked the bulbs and that actually put more lines so I'm not sure if it's a fuser problem or what. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated

Do the lines show when making a copy off the glass? Do the lines show when you print out a copy count sheet?

they show up when copying off the glass and when printing something and faxes. Never tried the copy count sheet but i'm assuming it'll be the same.

I had one similar to that on an 18 and it was something in the fuser. The upper roll I think.my 2¢

Can you post a scan of the problem? Also, could it be blanking lamps/LED's?

Im thinking it's something in the fuser also but I believe the 120k kit came with both the hot roller and a pressure roller maybe it's misalligned somehow. I just don't want to fork out the cash on a whole fuser.

I'll post one later tonight. It's nothing electrical is it? the copier was bought like this and had a bad thermistor which the 120k kit fixed but i was hoping it was an old drum or something but apparently not.

Do the lines line up with the fuser scrapers or do they look like they are being pulled from letters on the page?

They're completly straight lines and are always in the same pattern all the time. They don't showup on the white parts of a copy. In other words if I have a completly black copy i can see all the lines but if it's white there's nothing on the page.

So the lines are white not black?
