I am sorry, but i have the exact same problems NOW, so if anybody could reopen the thread...

The standard "scanner" and "password" do not work on my Ricoh IS300.
Would someone be so nice to mention the keystrokes to reset all the settings to factory standards?

no Service mode info and no manuals!

Yep, You may be right, but right now the thing is already bricked (read:unusable) to me, since i cannot make any adjustments, like enter network shares to store scans to, etc.
So it is impossible to make things worse...

Isn't it amazing.. we work for decades..
Get trained on hundreds ( or more ) of units.
Then you get end users ( sorry guys.. being a "support staff" doesn't count as being a tech) who get miffed because you ( the trained tech ) isn't willing to risk his job..reputation, just to give some NON QUALIFIED person COPYRIGHTED MATERIALS and/or files.. (something WE could get in LEGAL trouble over)
Just because they are TOO fucking cheap to hire a trained TECH!
    DAMN we really are sons-o-bitches!
