    Yes. But the fact that it has the button, means that it once had a scanner that has since been removed

    Check the setting of SP 5985-001. If it is set to 0 all scan funstions, including the scan button, are disabled. Network printing is also disabled. Change the setting to 1.

    Hit counter/user tools. If it has a scanner installed, it will show up there. Another work around is to use the network twain scanner driver with Irfanview. Although Irfanview is technically for private use only.

    I am not sure for the 1075, but with the newer equipment if the NIB is disabled in SP 5985-001, the scan option is disabled and will not show in User Tools. You cannot even assign it to the Home Screen. I know from recently installing Print/Scan option on a MP 5002.

    hi i must say this solution. i open the kit or board guard and see there is just printer kit.look like laptop rams.. one of other friend have 1075 and when i watch for him i see there is one ram and write scanner and printer kit... i find that kit and now my scanner option is work!!!! now i try to setup scan to computer ... before i change the rams my password at pc (when use device's ip)
    is ADMIN-ADMIN . BUT NOW ITS DONT WOTK .

    any one know easy way to scan to folder from 1075??

    i find smart device monitor for admin but don know how to work... but how can i use web image monitor and send scan for shared folder??

    I think your pretty much stuck with scan to email (imbedded). Scan to folder on this model used Scanrouter, which hasn't been supported for years, and was major glitchy anyways.
