OMG! The RJ45?
The bad news is you have to buy AND install a rear frame, the connectors dont come separate.
The good news is you will have a model Color RJ45 i(3 of them) n which to test fit the newly cut black RJ45s. This way you are less likely to punch the old one out of the frame. (again)

Out of curiosity, where is it on the parts manual or what's the part number for it? Is it the "Drum Stay PCU Assy"?

sorry if i missed any info in the previous 11 pages of posts, just a little pressed for time...
has anyone tried modifying printer PCU's to fit the MFP's? (or any other printer parts for that matter: fuser, transfer, etc.)
reason being, i have a local (east coast, US) client with a satellite office on the west coast (with an MP C4000). they want to be able to send parts like Maintenance Kits to the satellite office so they can maintain it themselves...
i really appreciate any input, thanks in advance!
You can use the printer PCU's but it's necessary to swap the TD Sensor from original copier-unit to the printer-unit plus modifying the conenctor of the color PCUs.
Transfer unit can be used as well (after removing some plastic) same goes for the fuser (cable/pin assignment must be changed). I don't have exact instructions in mind but it's quite self explaining if you compare the copier with the printer parts.
Hey guys, guess what? The MPC3002 / 3502 / 4502 / 5502 will be launched in March - new drums, devs, ITB cleaning unit and completely unique fuser. Joy.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.
Not to mention all new toner. I mean where am I supposed to put all this shxt?
