    Smile Thanks Again

I will be sure to look for this item. I am guessing that as the paer comes out of the registration rollers it should be guided along by this plate to the
transfer belt? Am I correct in that as the transfer unit is lifted up and locked in position by the handle then this guide should be just about touching the registration roller(lower)?
It sure would be great if it was as simple as that.

I know this may sound simple and stupid but did you order the right pcu assembly ther is one for the older 1060 and 1075 that looks pretty much the same but is different

I am sure I ordered the correct item but now that you ask when I get to the office this morning I will check the parts listing and the packing slip to
be sure and post what I find.

I do appreciate all replies as I am by no means an expert on this product.

I am pleased that there is this BBS to help me out.

    I didn't find the PCU unit #. There are two parts: B065 2270 - Upper PCU Ass'y
    B140 2260 - PCU Lower Ass'y

    Smile Thanks Re Part Numbers

I checked my order and packing slip and these parts B0652270 and B1402260 are the ones I have been using.

As with most problems I expect this will turn out to be something easy.

    Thanks

Make sure that the PTL is part of that Lower assy.

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.

I am sure the PTL was part of the PCU unit as the component we were exchanging looks the same.

I am still waiting for Ricoh to get back to me before going back onsite.

I have to update them to see if they want to proceed further on this call.
I have kept all of these email responses on file.

    Thanks

I agree it may very well be a simple solution.
I have contacted Ricoh and am now waiting for a response but I think
the outcome will end up replacing the product with something a little newer and a smaller footprint as this customer location is not service friendly for a machine this large.

    I will advise.
