    Hi James

Could you assist me with this,

After completing the installation and the implementation of equitrac office 4, now the customer wants to give some users right to copy/print 500 blk and 20 color and some other users 1000 blk and 100 color.

What I know true Equitrac we can set up color quota for color output only.

Can we do that for blk as well.

    Please advice.

    Regards

    hi there,

quotas are only available on colour pages. you will need to assign the users an account balance to deal with the black element. this will be reduced based on the pricing set up in your price lists. the account balance can be increased based on a schedule to save admins time each month.

    hope this helps

    Re: importing users in Equitrac

    Hi james!

hope you doin good there, seems like i'm in deep trouble and lookin for some sort'a help regarding installation and config EE4/PCC4,
I have installed PCC4 applications on Ricoh MP8001 and satuation is like when i log in to PCC screen on MFP with: Start 0 1 2 3 1 2 3 0 with default equitrac password it's fine but showing communiction error on right corner of MFP sounds like not able to communicate with server, i'll attach screen shot as well so you can look in to it.

if it's configured properly then password must be changed form default equitrac to 2468 which is not in this case.

Do i need to sync AD first and then try?
Is it going to be the Equitrac server ip adress in configuration?
One thing that i'm still confused with is DCE,is it the equitrac server do we need to install that separately?

could you just guide me through some short steps?

in PCC configuration on MFP its equitrac server IP address i can even ping this ip from MFP,am i missing the trick?

    looking for your kind response!
