    Lanier 6010

I have been looking for toner for the Lanier 6010 and have been unable to find it at any of my sources but I have toner for the Toshiba BD-3110 which is the Toshiba version of this machine. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any places at which I can buy the Lanier 6010 toner, if there is another toner that will work in this machine, or if the Toshiba toner will work? Any help appreciated, thank you.

The toner will work, the question is will the cartridge fit. I think it will but for sure the toner is the same.

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.

Time to dump that thing in the tar pit with the rest of the dinosaurs.

Test the toner carefully, Lanier occasionally made changes to the machines. Example: Early in the 6513's life if you tried to use genuine sharp toner it trashed the fuser because it had a different melting point.

Might also want to repost this under the Toshiba forum if you haven't already - those guys would know better than the old Lanier techs lurking around on the Ricoh forum.

Use the Toshiba toner - you just have to cut the tag off of the bottom with a pair of side cutters to make it fit.

As for the toner not being quite the same, I don't think anyone who still has a 20 year old machine would care!
