Does it jam on the last page? If so check the switch that hangs down to detect the presence of an original, they move out of postion slightly and catch the lower black plastic frame. (or warped top can cause this)

I have also wound the spring one more time around the feed section ( the one that forces the pickup roller down on the page) this can help too!
Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

Change the magnetic clutch driving the feed assembly. I've seen several on this feeder fail and cleaning it won't help, only replacing it seems to work.

Had the same with an MPC3500. Switch off skew correction with SP6-020.

Clean all optical sensors AND the aperatures opposite the sensors which can accumulate dirt or paper dust. Make sure you get the one that you have to remove the plate on the bottom left-hand side to get to.

    From Ricoh Global Knowledgebase...

Jams occur in DF separation sensor
    [Cause]
Lower guide plate of separation sensor area is dirty.
    [Action]
Clean guide plate and sensor area
Don't take that toner with me!

Another vote for the sensor. I always clean the registration sensor (17), the one behind the small metal plate and the exit sensor (15) each visit to these MC. To get to the exit sensor you need to remove the lower scanning exit guide (one screw) although it can be a little fiddly to get back in.

Sensor 15 everytime.... Whenever I have this problem it's usually sensor no.15 as per Neergish's sketch. But while you're at it clean them all. Doesn't take much dust to start a jamming fault....15 I say!!
