How do you access service mode on this machine? Was a trade in for a Konica Minolta. Mostly just curious. Thanks!

Take a pair of scissors and ram them into the hot part inside the right-hand door.
When you call out a Ricoh engineer to fix it for you, he may also show you how to access the SP modes ;-)
Does it make you feel like a real man to be a smart ass? I'm a service tech for Minolta, Canon, and Panasonic copiers and if you asked for my help with a machine you weren't familiar with, I'd gladly help out. (without any smart comments!) Isn't that what this place is for?
Yes, yes it does, it gives me a semi...
Anyway, despite the tirade and despite the unnecessary foul language, namely the use of the word "Panasonic" in such polite company and, most tellingly, despite the fact that nobody has answered your question unless they sent it as a PM, here's your answer.
Yellow cancel button, 107, press and hold the orange/pink cancel button.
Now, I'm off to pick on people in a chatroom whilst boasting about the massive arsenal which I keep in my closet and snorting coke on a webcam. Yes, I am that manly.
Incidentally, when you say that you are "mostly curious", is that a personal statement concerning your sexual orientation? I'm not sure that it's relevant to the question, but good luck with that anyway!

I answered the question somewhere in the middle of all that
I think there are a lot of answers in there
You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.
