    Thanks for the response, guys. I was under the mistaken impression that the LD245 and the 8045 were a direct cross. I know better now. Figure I'll start by replacing the developer and adjusting the 2201-1 bias a little. I'll let you know what happens.

    Believe it not there are 4 Mylar paddles in hopper that come off and cause both dirty machine and overtoning. Only way to find out is to get your Hands dirty and take hopper apart, but if it has been dirty for a long time it is a good bet.
