    Developer type

    Hi
I rebuild these all the time type 18 or 19 will work I would replace the gears, clean the charge roller
and apply a thin coat of ne finish polish this will help stop the thin lines from coming back. if you rebuild them more then 2 times you will start having problem with them.

Ricoh tried rebuilding them for a while and they didn't last for anything. The newer machines are the same design with an extra screw so you can take it apart easier, but as already noted they don't last either. We used to be able to get the type1027 new for less than the parts to rebuild one, but that was too easy and Ricoh put a stop to it.
