    Ricoh AP3800

I have a Ricoh AP3800 copier with error message SC552 (pressure roller warmup). I have replaced the fuser and get the same message! What can I do now? Thanks!

Update the firmware to the latest versions BEFORE you look to replacing the BICU PCB.
Warm-up timing was changed to prevent SC552 mis-detection from engine B1.25 onwards.

BTW there is an SC reset you need to execute in SP mode for fuser codes.

    Hi there!
Donīt laugh but iīve had severeal fusererrorcodes at this type (and R-3228-45C) where there was a little piece if paper in the connector (in the machine!). You have to look very well to see it. Remove it, SC-Clear and here you go...

I have seen many of these machines with paper in the connector , so many i bought a dental pick to get them out , and don't forget the SC reset .
