    MPC2500 w/SR790

A customer called today and said that their c2500 is jamming at the entrance to the finisher but only printing from the network and only when stapling is selected.
    Stapling while copying is fine.
The first copy of the set stops at the entrance. It doesnt crunch up, just stops.
My first thought is the driver is corrupted, the 2nd is that they are selecting a stapling position that isnt allowed on the SR790.
I saw something similar on a MP7500 once, the driver was showing a stapling position that wasnt available on the finisher but in this case, it just didnt staple, the paper just stacked and exited.
    Any thoughts on this?

I wonder if they have the correct finisher selected on their printer properties accessories tab?

Good thought. This was a legacy copier. I dont know who set it up.

I would be inclined to look at the driver as well since there is no problem stapling while making copies. Maybe just try switching to a different driver. If their using PCL switch to RPCS or vice versa. We maintain quite a few C2500 so let me know what you come up with.
