    Savin C2525 and SC555

I got a real problem machine with this C2525. It keeps popping a SC555 code about every week. I can reset it and its fine until it decides that it needs some attention. I've replaced the whole Fuser and Power supply but it keeps coming back. I'm now asking for help with it, so if you have any other ideas I'm open to them.

Next step would be thermopile and BICU board I think.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

You might want to check your source power also. Does it happen at the same time of day or when something else turns on (fridge, air con, etc).
the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.
Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.
Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.

I thought about it being a voltage issue, but I'm not sure about it being that. Took me about 6 tries before they would put a surge protector on it, since its not under a service agreement. If and when they call back I'll take a bicu board and thermopile.

Maybe move it to a different room just to give it a whirl. Seems they would be up for something free for a fix if they don't have a maintenance agreement.

I had the same problem on Friday with an MP 9001. There is a TSB that might apply. rfg040429,
    SYMPTOM:
    A SC542 or SC555 occurs.
    CAUSES:
Temperature misdetection has occurred by the thermistors.

When using paper with a high paper dust content, the amount of toner that sticks to the surface of
the fusing roller increases. This toner and paper dust mix then sticks to the temperature-detecting
elements of the thermistors. As a result, the thermistors are unable to detect the temperature of the
    fusing roller correctly.

    SOLUTIONS:
    If the symptoms occur:
    1. Clean or replace the Fusing Roller.
    NOTE:
If the fusing roller is dirty, the toner and paper dust tends to stick to the thermistor more easily.
    If the SC codes continue:
    2. Replace the Middle and Rear Thermistor Brackets.

    NOTE:
This will secure the thermistors in the correct position, which ensures that they can detect the
    roller temperature correctly.
The distances [A] are different between
the new and old style brackets.
    Old P/Ns - B1404196/7: 14.8 mm

    New P/Ns - D0624196/7: 15.3 mm
PART NUMBERS ARE FOR THE MP 9001.

    From the c2525 service manual.
