The Color MFP's check toner density first, if it is too light you have to tone up before the calibration will work.
Most of the time the operators need fixing, not the machine !!!

Are all your trays set to a different thickness of paper? At least one tray has to be set to plain paper for ACC to work. Any toners low? That will stop ACC running.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

And put a few extra white pages - 10ish - behind the colour test chart when it scans.

tray one has to be plain paper , you have to set this up through user , and make sure screen displays tray 1 as nothing but A4

Maybe try restoring factory ACC settings and see what happens, or upload the NVRAM data to an SD card and do a memory clear. (I see you're from Oakley. I used to live in Brentwood, and Antioch before that.)
Don't take that toner with me!

Update the firmware!!!! The laser shutter isn't opening enough, therefore the patches won't print on the belt and it fails test pattern.

Also remove the laser shutter, we have had numerous problems with these.
