    I don't know if this machine does, but a lot of machines have mechanical counters.

    reset the supervisor password procedure. (NVRAM reset procedure)

    Print out smc non deafult list on the mpc3000.

    Because this procedure reset the all data for example counters, IP numbers, passwords and all sp mode

    1. remove the nvram (ont the MCP3000 machine)
    2. this nvram install the mp 7500 series machine
    3. Turn on the main switch MP7500
    4. Please wait hold the 1 munite near the MP7500
    4. Turn of the main swictch
    5. This nvram instal the MPC3000 machine
    6. Turn ont he main switch
    7. Enter the SP mode register 5985-1 and 2 set to 1
    8. ;Enter the serial number
    9. Enter the smc non deafult list
    10. Register 2-111-3 and 1 execute

    Please can you try it, I try a lot af and no problems

    You should know VERY WELL that this is very sensible information. SOME THINGS SHOULD REMAIN SECRET. So please delete it as soon as you can.

    You guys do know that you can get the passwords if you do an NVRAM upload to an SD Card, and read the file off the SD card from your laptop right? Takes about a minute and a half. No new parts needed, no counter problems, just really easy.

    Rosspt, are you trolling? I just inserted an SD card into my computer from an MPC3003, theres no entities in there of the currently set passwords.

    My program doesn't work on the new GW controllers with the new encryption options. Yet. Working on it. BUT... this thread was about a C3000. I have done the pw recovery on the nvram file for 161, 171, c2000, c2500, c3000, c3500, c4500, c2800, c3300, c4000, c5000 and I'm sure it works for a lot more. I'll gladly help off forum if anyone needs.
