    mpc 2500 finisher jams 144

paper is jamming inside the finisher. paper sits on the tray inside the finisher ready to be stapled and throws up a jam of 144 which is the finisher staple motor. its is an sr 3000 booklet finisher. what can it be?

I am quite new to the industry but if its inside finisher at the point of being stapled and throws stapler motor code, I would assume the motor is bad. It may also be a loose connection with motor.Unless that code just means it jammed before it got to the motor, in which case I don't have the experience to give possible solutions. hope the little bit helped

Try replacing the Staple Cartridge yet? Those springs can loose there elasticity causing Staple SC codes.
