I can definitely swap the 2 trays on all my 220's. Maybe a Savin thing?

There are white Plastic Pins at the Backside of the Drawers, remove them, and they will fit in all Trays

if you get lift in the tray and still no feed check to make sure the paper guides in the trays are set correctly I have seen and banged my head and parts against a machine only to find the paper guides were off enough to not allow paper to leave the tray.

Yeah seen that before. If they are off track or something they would cause it.

I'd go with tray lift coupling or weak spring. It may be worth taking the coupler out to inspect it, sometimes they look good in situ, but it's better if you get up close and personal with them to be sure.

    Good luck

    Tray 1 non function

First, u look about the two springs
Second, look on the Rising Unit mostley this one is broken (the white Plastic)
the tray dont lift up or not enough to bring Paper to the feed Roller
