2232c k dev unit spilling toner

i replaced the black dev unit and after 14k it started leaving toner on the lead edge of the dev unit causing it to speckle on to the prints as paper comes along. i cant understand why its doing at an early stage of the dev life. when i replaced the black dev unit i initialized it in sp 5999 to reset the black dev unit counters. what can cause this. all firmware is upto date. the black is coming out perfectly fine. just tends to spill toner after a few thousand prints.

the black drum unit is out of like so am going to get that replaced.

I would replace the black dev-unit and file a warranty claim to Ricoh. A bad development clutch could also be the problem.
