    While it would allow Scan Router to work, though, it seems to me that most IT admins would really hesitate to lower security that much. I know that I wouldn't allow it if it was my network.

    Of course, it depends on how your customer's IT person feels about it.

    Again, keep in mind that the product hasn't been supported by Ricoh in 3 1/2 years, so if something bad happens they can't be held responsible.

    The issue was solved, i´misssing for the windows firewal, and only remenber of my antivirus firewall.

    Was the windows firewal that blok the scanroute, and in desactivate it, and get a rule in my firewal and works good now.

    I´m again, good morning.

    I instaled the scanrouter in w7 32 and 64 bts, and works ok, and in mi al cases the scn router starts automaticaly like wind.xp.

    Most of my customers that use Scanrouter which is VERY FEW nowadays know to stick with the XP Box it runs on. Those that didn't we converted to scan to email. Really shouldn't be too many people needing to run Scanrouter. I think almost every machine since 2003 has SMB or Email scanning.
