    Exclamation Sr5000 Bk5010 Savin 8090

I have an 8090 that runs fun stapling and doing letter all day long to an SR5000 Finisher.
However once the BK5010 Bookletmaker is attacked things get bad. The customer uses this to make 11x17 Booklets. One booklet can usually make it fine out of the BK5010, but if I send more than 1 the pages get turned in the BK5010 before they hit the staple heads.

I'm getting Jam Codes 122 which is Upper Stopper Motor Lock, Ricoh says this is the Jogger Top Fence Motor. I find this in SM, but not in Parts. Anyone have Part# or seen this before.

    Also getting jam codes
    21-Heat Pipe Sensor.
    115 Shift Tray Drive Train
    5- Third Tray
    12- 3 Transport Sensor.

Tray 3 is where the 11x17 comes from.

Check the alignment of the back jogger in the finisher.
Offen when you watch to both jogger you will see |/ (|= front jogger, /= back jogger)
    It should be like ||
Or even better is should be a little bit like |\

This way the paper is supported better from the finisher into the BK5010.
Because the exit belt is not in center of paperpack the paper is when tranported to exit skewing to the back. By adjusting the back fence its corrected to stay straight en preventing jams in BK5010.

    Good luck !!!

Does the paperstack jam against the backjogger of the BK5010 then this is the solution for it.
No need to watch it in action.
For adjusting finisher joggers just pull out the stacktray to see and adjust.

To watch the BK5010 there is a metal cheater that should be screwed to the side of the BK5010 that is against the finisher when it's docked. If it's not there order one you will want it at some point.

Ahh yes I know of the tool you mentioned. Guess I was out of it yesterday. I was thinking you were talking about the SR5000. I am convinced the skew is occurring there and thus skewing entry into BK5010. Or some kinda wack level issue.

    Hey Vulkor,

I was talking about the SR5000.
Skew starts at finisher in 95% of cases.

Let me know what you found,
    Thnx
